I like very much the Halloween page. What a very happy group of pictures, as he grown up in the years. It is not a 'holiday' we have so much, so it was very nice to see all the costumes. My thoughts to you, always.

Hey Luke, Oh those pumpkin pictures, how great, I'll have to search for Joey's first one/ I just am going crazy for this song on that page. If Joey's with you and I know he is, boy you two are like twins, he really is here when I play the music from your book. You'll get sick and tired of me, if so say it, won't matter, I'll write you anyway. Love,Terrie (Joey's Mom)

God bless you Kay, the pain and horror in our lives is so awful and unbearable. But we live on - even with this sorrow. Makes no sense to me. God bless your beautiful Luke.

Garrett and I just look at the fort;

It was strange to Garrett when I pointed out his blue sled in the picture.

That was a great time for us in Whitefish.

Love Terry Kamins

Dear Kay, Thanks so much for sharing Luke's Halloween pictures. I am not sure I have a single picture of Megan in a costume. That's sad. I saw the skeleton and yes it reminds me of Dee's Love to you and Luke!

Kay- I always hold a special place in my heart for you and your precious Luke. It is now 2 years---sometimes it seems like forever and sometimes like it happened yesterday. Our boys are probably having a great time as we struggle day to day missing them. I know that they are encouraging us to live and be happy and smiling down on us giving us the strength to keep going. We will be together with them again one day and until then I hope to be as strong as my son was. Bless you dear friend.

Hi Luke, Two years today you took flight. You were remembered and with us during Michael's graduation. It was a time of celebration and you would have been proud of him. My thougjts are now with you as you continue to watch over both your mom and Michael. They are growing stronger as time heals the painful void that was left with your untimely exit. Your music still rings in our ears with the treasure of songs your mom has recorded for us. Thanks for sharing your favorites with us. You are truly missed but always remembered. Hugs and Kisses, Carol

Luke, It's overwhelming to look at your guestbook. I learned more about you and my thoughts are with your Mom and Michael, especially today. I wish I had taken time to talk about music and snowboarding with you. The boys love listening to your CDs. You are in my thoughts. Surround your Mom and Michael with love today, as I know you do every day.

My Dearest Luke - Here it is 2 years since you caught your Angels and left this life. I miss you so much and still have a hard time believing you are no longer physically here. Last night I lit the candles in front of your pictures and kept vigil until midnight and today I will keep them lit. My heart is with your mom especially today so please be close to her and let her know you are near. This morning is very like the one 2 years ago when Sherif Meehan knocked on my door at 12 noon and turned my world upside down. It is so touching to read the letters to you and know the love people feel for you and that you will never be forgotton. I shall always cherish the last time I saw you when I stopped in Markus' before going home from work when I heard "Mimie"! and looked up to see you standing in front of me shining in a golden glow and grinning happily. And yes, you were shining with your beautiful golden tan like your mother's - it hasn't become a figment of myimagination. Well, guess who just called. NIck is in town. He had gone to the store looking for me. What a time to call. Have to close now and get dressed as he is coming over. I love you my sweet golden boy, Your Mimiegramma

Dear Luke, I told you I'd be back, kind of like a bad penny, but now we know pennies are from heaven, so I'm sending this one up to you on your second anniversary with God. I love listening to the music your Mom has in your book. You're a very lucky angel to have her as your Mom. God Bless Sweet Angel, Love, Terrie (Joey's Mom)xxxxxxooooooo

"Death is simply a shedding of the physical body like the butterfly shedding its cocoon. It is a transition to a higher state of consciousness where you continue to perceive, to understand, to laugh, and to be able to grow." -Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

"Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself. They come through you but not from you. And though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tommorow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday. You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with his might that His arrows may go swift and far. Let the bending in the archer's hand be for gladness. For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable." -Gibran-the Prophet-

Hi Kay and All, Somehow or another I came across this site and I am speechless. That's rare for me. What sadness, but what hope! What sadness, but what faith! What a marvelous young man. I am less for my never meeting him. DeWayne mentioned him often and always with a smile. You can say that you have honored his memory.
